
When companies hire IT talent, they face challenges in the first stage of recruitment. Evaluating many candidates through technical interviews requires significant time and resources from technical staff. Code Quest was created to address this problem.
Code Quest is an AI-powered platform designed to streamline technical hiring and help recruiters quickly identify qualified candidates. It allows recruitment teams to easily create customized assessments—including coding challenges, multiple-choice questions, and scenario-based exercises—to evaluate candidates’ problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and critical thinking abilities.
Candidates submit their solutions directly through the platform, where AI evaluates and scores each submission with accuracy and consistency. This reduces manual work for recruiters while ensuring a fair and engaging experience for candidates.
With Code Quest, hiring teams can focus on building strong teams while the platform handles assessment creation, solution validation, and performance scoring.
This was my capstone project for my undergraduate degree. I had the opportunity to collaborate with agap2IT to develop a platform that could benefit the recruitment process for moOngy, a company group with over 9,500 employees.
I’m grateful for the chance to work with excellent professionals, colleagues, and university support. This project was also my first hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), where I could measure the real-world impact and costs of this emerging technology in production applications.
